Up, Out and Away

I'm a negligent blogger, I know. I got all excited about my new layout and entry ideas then BOOM...life got all busy and I dropped the ball. I've come to envy those people that can be super busy and still find time to post these awesome entries along with amazing photos that make their lives seem like a dream. But i realize it's all about proper time management along with more time spent "doing" instead of just "thinking" of doing.

So just so you know I haven't been completely slacking in my off time after work and before class, here's a list of the nine most notable moments in the last 60-days, sans blogging:

1. I discovered the magnificence of a store completely dedicated to beads! Who knew? After recently deciding that accessories are way overpriced I figured, 'why not make my own?' And that's exactly what I did.
2. Costa Rican coffe has become my everything! Why didn't I know before just how powerful this stuff is?
3. My ever growing mass of curls has forced me to make my own 'fro friendly' winter hats. I finally found a use for my precious baby alpaca yarn!
4. I voted. Enough said.
5. Pepper-Anne has spent way more time accompanying me on my errands to make up for time spend apart with my crazy school and work schedule. Needless to say, she is the ultimate road dog!
6. Cake happened! My amazing little brother turned another year older and I got to enjoy my most favorite thing ever in life: CAKE. It was definitely a celebration of the last year that he'll get to celebrate his birthday before his first baby girl arrives in the spring. So excited!
7. Introducing a tamed version of my massive curl collection. I finally figured out a routine for keeping my hair hydrated and growing without the heat and I'm loving it!
8. Christmas happened! And this was the first year EVER that I had a live pine tree. Granted it was small, but it was all MINE and loaded with gifts. I'm going to hate to say goodbye to the fresh clean aroma of pine in my home.
 9. We won! I can finally be proud of the fact that I'm a Redskins fan, and wholeheartedly believe that RGIII is quite possibly the best thing to happen to football in YEARS. So here we go, preparing to cross the threshold of another year. I'm not really one for resolutions, but I definitely look forward to an even more successful, passionate and happy year ahead.

                                                           HAPPY NEW YEAR!
